We are now seeking a highly motivated person for the position of Maintenance Mechanic – Millwright if you exhibit integrity, teamwork, enthusiastic excellence, and you appreciate working in a high-performance and high-energy atmosphere.
The Maintenance Mechanic-Millwright is tasked with supporting the company’s policies, goals, and objectives while safely maintaining, replacing, or repairing plant equipment and systems and assuring maximum production quantity and quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reassemble the equipment after using hand and power tools to repair or replace any damaged parts.
- To maintain the functionality of equipment, the effectiveness of building systems, and the preservation of the physical integrity of buildings, perform routine preventive maintenance in accordance with a maintenance program.
- Use a variety of tools, including standard hand and power tools like hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches as well as fine measuring equipment and electrical and electronic testing tools.
- Plumbing, machinery, and equipment assembly and installation.
- Examine blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary to diagnose mechanical issues and decide how to fix them.
- Examine, use, and test machinery and equipment to identify any issues with it.
- Keep track of the charges associated with the maintenance and repair work that was done.
- Shafts, bearings, gears, and other machine parts should all be cleaned and lubricated.
- Utilizing hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools, disassemble the apparatus to get access to and remove the damaged components.
- Using schematic diagrams, sketches, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and other visual aids, plan and organize your repairs.
- Purchase equipment, supplies, and parts from suppliers and catalogs, or from storerooms.
- It is your responsibility to maintain all equipment and approve maintenance reports.
- Cut or connect metal pieces using cutting torches or welding equipment.
- Once new equipment has been installed, align and balance it.
- Using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices, examine used parts to ascertain changes in dimensional requirements.

ACADEMIC AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
General education diploma (GED) or high school diploma
Experience maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and buildings for a minimum of five years, or an acceptable mix of education and experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
